New Adult Learning opportunities are beginning in August and September. The first two classes are beginning in August. Both classes meet on Thursday evenings from 7:00-8:30pm (August 28, September 4, 11 and 18)

Undies for Everyone
Join us in supporting children in need through our partnership with Undies for Everyone! We are partnering with HCRJ and both synagogues are collecting new children’s underwear for kids in poverty or crisis through August 22. Collection bins will be in the administrative lobby and outside of Freedman Levit. On August 24, we'll assemble packages as a community from 2:00-4:00pm. Rosh Chodesh Elul
Our Rosh Chodesh program returns on Sunday, August 24 at 4:00pm for all Jewish women (Bat Mitzvah age and up). Join local artist Michelle Renfrow as we create beautiful glass-etched and painted honey vessels in preparation for the High Holy Days. Mahjong And Canasta!
Join us for Weekly Mahjong & Canastta! NEW! Starting Tuesday, August 26th from 1:00-3:00pm, we're launching weekly open-play Mahjong sessions every Tuesday afternoon. We will also have canasta and other card games. Bring your own tiles and cards for a fun, casual game with old and new friends. The Sisterhood Gift Shop sells Mahjong cards and merchandise. Sisterhood Challah Bake
Mark your calendars for Thursday, September 4th 6:00-7:30pm. Kick off the Sisterhood program year with our annual Challah Bake, led by Sandra Finkelman. Whether you are a beginner or an expert, this class is for you! Get our famous recipe and make your dough to bake at home. Open to all. Cost: $10 per adult, $18 per family.
