"I have encouraged our beloved Greenfield Chapel to stop streaming daily services.  Please know that the Conservative Movement only allowed the fulfillment of saying kaddish through streaming during the emergency stage of the COVID-19 pandemic. The saying of the Mourners Kaddish is a deeply meaningful tradition within our Jewish community, providing comfort and solace to those who have lost dear ones. It is a mitzvah, a sacred obligation, and a vital part of the grieving process. In these times of increasing individualization and remote connection, it's easy to think we can fulfill this obligation from the comfort of our homes. However, it's important to remember that to fulfill this mitzvah, we must gather as a Minyan, a quorum of ten Jewish adults. I want to emphasize that the essence of Minyan, the communal aspect of our faith, remains irreplaceable." - Rabbi Brian Strauss
