Mazel Tov to Our Second B'nai Mitzvah
A heartfelt mazel tov to all the participants of our Second B'nai Mitzvan participants who were born in 1942. Our tradition teaches that at age 70, we “begin again,” making 83 the new 13 (Psalms 90:10). Congratulations to: Jon Hyman, David Gerber, Rochelle Sinderbrand, Bobbi Asarch, Joan Katz, Barbara Sakowitz, Linda Rabinowitz, Marion Schepps, and Lary Kupor. Also, a big thanks to Sara Kaiser who coordinated this event and helped make it a huge success!
Donations to Help Flood Victims
We offer our support and prayers for the healing to all those impacted and facing loss from this tragic event. Shalom Austin is leading the response effort through their "Flood Relief Campaign." You can donate directing by visiting shalomaustin.org/texas-flood-relief. So far they have raised $400,000. Funds raised will help families directly impacted by the floods in Central Texas. Every donation will provide urgent support and recovery assistance.
