Our hearts are with Central Texas
Congregation Beth Yeshurun joins in mourning the lives lost and prays for healing and safety for all those affected by the devastating flooding in Central Texas. We send strength to the families grieving, to the first responders, and to all whose lives have been upended. In the words of the Psalmist: “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in times of trouble” (Psalm 46:1). May the One who brings comfort to the brokenhearted shelter all who are suffering under the wings of peace. - Rabbi Brian Strauss
We offer our support and prayers for the healing to all those impacted and facing loss from this tragic event. Shalom Austin is leading the response effort through their "Flood Relief Campaign." You can donate directing by visiting shalomaustin.org/texas-flood-relief . Funds raised will help families directly impacted by the floods in Central Texas. Every donation will provide urgent support and recovery assistance.

All are invited to come to Shabbat morning services and stay afterward for a lovely kiddush lunch celebrating this special Shabbat. Mazel tov to the participants of the 2nd B'nai Mitzvah: Bobbi Asarch, Lynn Circle, David Gerber, Jon Hyman, Joan Katz, Lary Kupor, Linda Rabinowitz, Barbara Sakowitz, Marion Schepps, and Rochelle Sinderbrand.
