Yizkor is soon approaching, a time when we honor the memory of our loved ones. Yom Kippur Yizkor Services will take place on Wednesday morning, October 5th and Shemini Atzeret Yizkor Services will take place on Monday morning, October 17th.
Our Congregational Yizkor Book will be published to bring focus to the names of our dear family and loved ones. The Yizkor Book will be distributed at the synagogue on Yizkor and will also be available to the Congregation for distribution via mail or pick up at the synagogue the week prior to Yizkor. The entire Yizkor Book is also available electronically on our website.
To ensure that the names of your loved ones will be memorialized in our 5783 Yizkor Book Addendum, the form below must be submitted by Wednesday, September 28, 2022. Names received after September 28, 2022 might not be printed in the Yom Kippur addendum, but will be included in the online version of the book as well as future printed addendums.
Also available below, is the form for the Reverent Tribute section of our Yizkor Book, which is dedicated to the members of Beth Yeshurun, of blessed memory, who served in the United States military to protect our freedom. This list is ongoing and once the name of your loved one is included, you do not need to complete this form again in the years to come. However, if your loved one is not yet included, please list the name(s) of your loved ones so that we may add them to the Reverent Tribute section.
Please complete these forms online by Wednesday, September 28, 2022. Should you have any questions, please contact Jennifer Sutton directly at 713-666-1881 x 315 or jsutton@bethyeshurun.org
