Jeff Lefkowitz

Jeff is a native Houstonian and has been a member of Congregation Beth Yeshurun more than 50 years. He graduated with a B.A. in History from the University of Texas at Austin and with a J.D. from the University of Texas Law School. Jeff is Of Counsel at Andrews Myers, P.C., where he serves as an arbitrator of commercial disputes. Jeff has served as an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Houston Law Center where he taught Legal Writing. He teaches Jewish history to high school juniors and seniors through a program he created. He is the author of Window to Yesterday: The Swordsman, a Jewish historical novel primarily for readers aged 12 to 120. He has served on a numbers of community and synagogue education-related and other committees. Jeff and his wife, Beth, have four children: Kevin, Jessica, Allie, and Johnny, who grew up attending weekly Shabbat services together at Beth Yeshurun.
