Janine and Charles Pullman spent three weeks in July on a fact-finding mission in Israel where they visited and talked with a wide range of Israeli individuals and organizations. This talk will share what they saw and learned and what makes them enthusiastic for the future of Israel and the Jewish People.

Charles Pulman is Senior Counsel in the Dallas law firm of Meadows, Collier, Reed, Cousins, Crouch and Ungerman, LLP, where he practices in the areas of tax, corporate, and real estate.  In addition to his many civic activities, including having served on the Plano City Council from 1984 to 1990, Charles has been involved for many years in Jewish organizations, including Jewish Family Service,  Echad, Jewish Federation of Greater Dallas, Jewish Community Relations Council, American Jewish Committee, Hillel at the University of Texas, Wise Academy, American Israel Public Affairs Committee,  Bnai Zion, Israel Bonds, and Hadassah.

Charles has been to Israel more than 45 times since 1971, during which visits he has met and talked with a wide spectrum of Israelis from all walks of life and traveled extensively throughout Israel.  Charles and his wife Janine have participated in several solidarity missions to Israel sponsored by The American Jewish Committee, Shurat Hadin, the Dallas Jewish Federation, as well as other organizations.

Charles worked closely with Texas House Representative Phil King and other Texas legislators on anti-BDS legislation that was introduced and passed in the 2017 session of the Texas legislature.  Charles is a frequent lecturer and has written many articles on the conflict between Israel and the Arabs/Palestinians, his trips to Israel, the relationship and bond between Diaspora Jewry and Israel, antisemitism and Israel advocacy.
