Adar is the month of Purim and our theme this month is masks.  We are all so many things to so many people – this is good but can also be exhausting.  Let’s explore!  We will be joined by Dr. Manizeh Mirza-Gruber, who will work with us on a mindfulness-based approach to the masks that we wear.

We have been wearing masks since the beginning of the pandemic. But what about the masks we were wearing before? The masks protecting us from being seen for who we are? The masks that hide us even from ourselves? What mask are you wearing now? What happens when we take off the mask? Can we see ourselves with new eyes without a mask?”

Join us with curiosity, courage, and compassion as we explore together how we may see ourselves without the mask. Through guided mindfulness practices, reflections, sharing, and experiential exercises, we will travel a path of discovery, allowing ourselves the opportunity for self-care and self-awareness.

No prior experience of meditation is necessary. Dress comfortably, and feel free to bring a mat, cushion/pillow, and blanket. Don’t forget to bring an open heart-body-mind-spirit!
