We have opportunities for Families (PreK and up) as well as Teen/Adult (13 years and up)

Most of our offsite opportunities have limits on group size, so please REGISTER ASAP!

10:00a - 12:00p Participate in any of these Mitzvah Opportunities at Beth Yeshurun

• Foster Love - Decorating and assembling Birthday Boxes to be gifted to children in local foster care (Teen/Adult)
• Israel Advocacy - Write letters to Congressmen (Teen/Adult)
• Alexander Jewish Family Services Shabbat Boxes - Assemble Shabbat boxes that JFS Chaplaincy distribute at hospitals (Teen/Adult)
• Kids' Meals Snack Bags - Assembling/decorating snack bags that Kids' Meals distributes to at-risk children (Families)
• Brookdale Galleria Snack Bags - Assemble/Decorate snack and gift bags for senior centers (Families)
• SPCA - Make toys for animals (Families)
• Aishel House - Assemble bags (Families)
• Second Servings/Nora's Home & Halo House - Assembling bags for Nora's Home (a lodging facility for transplant patients and families) and Halo House (a lodging facility for blood cancer patients and families) (Families)

• Beth Yeshurun Post Oak Cemetery - 10a - 1p - Cleaning headstones at Post Oak Cemetery (Teen/Adult)
• Hermann Park Conservancy - 10a - 12p - Gardening, Planting, and Cleaning Up (Families)
• Houston Food Bank - 9a - 12p - Working in the warehouse (Families)
• Celebration Company - 9:30a - 11:30a - Rolling Candles (Teen/Adult)
• Periwinkle Foundation - 10a - 12p - Assembling craft bags for hospitalized children (Teen/Adult)
• Houston Pets Alive - 10a - 12p - Help with animals (Teen 14+/Adult)
• Seven Acres - 10a - 11:30a - Planting herbs (Families)
• The Medallion - 11a - 12p - Bingo with residents (Teen/Adult)
