Mazel Tov to our B’not Mitzvah, Sophia Giselle Stanton and Olivia Charlotte Stanton, daughters of Brian and Amalia Stanton; granddaughters of Dr. Francisco and Judy Maislos and Dr. Alan and Debby Stanton; and great-granddaughters of the late Abraham and Isabel Maislos, the late Salvador and Amalia Menis, the late Rex and Ruth Braun, the late Bill and Charlotte Stanton. Sophia and Olivia are completing 6th grade at The Kinkaid School. They are active swimmers and skiers and also enjoy tennis, piano and art. For their mitzvah project, Sophia and Olivia will be serving as the Ambassador Family for the 2023 Houston March of Dimers Celebrity Chef Fundraiser Dinner. Sophia and Olivia, both born pre-maturely, feel a strong connection to this organization and are committed to raising awareness, educating, and helping fund research in the fight to end prematurity and maternal mortality. Both Sophia and Olivia will be donating a portion of their monetary gifts to The March of Dimes Houston.
