Mazel tov to our Bat Mitzvah, Milena Szvalb, daughter of Karen Amelia Nahmod and Ariel David Szvalb, sister of Micaela Szvalb, granddaughter of Elena Susana Lerner and Victor Elias Nahmod and Emma Berezin and Isaac Szvalb. Milena has finished 6th grade at The Emery Weiner School were she participated in the soccer team. Outside of school, Milena was part of the Excel Team at Houston Gymnastic Center for five years and studied piano at International Music Academy for six years. She is active in Tennis and Theater at the Performing Arts program at the ERJCC. Milena loves visiting her family in Argentina, and hanging out with her friends both in and out of school. She will complete her Mitzvah project in the upcoming months and participate in the Rabbi's Ten Percent plan for charitable giving.
