B'not Mitzvah of Kaia Kammerman & Mia Pickelner

Mazel tov to our Bat Mitzvah, Kaia Kammerman, daughter of Jami and Howard Kammerman, sister of Jase Kammerman, grandson of Roselle and Glenn Kammerman, Linda White and the blessed memory of Mack White.  Kaia completed seventh grade this year at Trafton Academy. She enjoys competing in On-Site Drawing for PSIA and also plays the clarinet in the band.  Outside of school, she enjoys all forms of art, listening to music with her friends and is active in the theater program at the JCC.  She will be participating in the Rabbi's Ten Percent plan for charitable giving, and she looks forward to completing her Mitzvah project. 

 

Mazel tov to our Bat Mitzvah, Mia Madelyn Pickelner, daughter of Staci and Aaron Pickelner, sister of Halle, granddaughter of Celia Schwarz and Robert Lamm, Naomi and Seymour Greenstein, Beverly and Robert Pickelner and Heriette Pickelner, of blessed memory. Mia recently completed 7th grade at Pin Oak Middle School and she performs in Second Stage theater productions at the Evelyn Rubenstein Jewish Community Center. She enjoys art, spending time with friends and family and loves attending Camp Young Judaea each summer. Mia will be participating in the Rabbi’s Ten Percent plan for charitable giving. For her mitzvah project, Mia is raising money for The Heriette Pickelner Fund for Pancreatic Cancer Research at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center to continue her grandmother’s mission to help find a cure for pancreatic cancer.
