Mazel tov to our Bar Mitzvah, Juan Vallarta, son of Ari and Sarai Vallarta, brother of Hugo, Santiago and Emilio. His proud grandparents Ariel and Sandra as well as Rodolfo and Susana. Proudly nephew of Arely, Ariel and Montse, Karla and Aldo, Paloma, proudly cousin of Ariel, Renata and Regina. Juan attends 7th grade at Stockdick Jr High. He has been part of the football team as an offensive lineman and also, he’s part of the soccer team as an offensive winger. He plays French Horn since he was 4 years old and belongs to the Junior High Symphonic Band as a first chair in this instrument gaining the first-place award in UIL. Outside school he used to race go karts, he’s very enthusiastic of racing cars and he’s preparing his career to become a professional motorsports racer. Juan loves sports and, he’s very passionate of pets, at home he has 4 dogs and two turtles. He loves rescuing animals, he used to rescue dogs, take care and re-home them with the help of his brothers, also with injured dogs. For his mitzvah project he raised funds making a campaign "Saving the Turtles" and he donated all the funds to The Gulf Center for Sea Turtle Research (Texas A&M University). Juan will participate in the Rabbi´s Ten Percent plan for charitable giving.
