Mazel tov to our Bar Mitzvah, Matthew Alan Grosman, son of Dana and Philip Grosman and brother of Sophie and Ellie. He is the grandson of Michael Lampear, Robin Lampear, and Sharon and Eddie Grosman; great-grandson of Yetta Gilbert and Roselyn Borger (and the late Dr. Jules Borger). Matthew is a seventh grader at the Emery/Weiner School, where he has participated in lacrosse and soccer. His passion is playing soccer for RISE Soccer Club. He enjoys spending his summers at Camp Young Judaea Texas. For his mitzvah project, Matthew is collecting and donating soccer cleats to Sole Loved, a local shoe charity. Matthew will donate a portion of his monetary gifts to MD Anderson Cancer Center, after losing loved ones to cancer.  Matthew is excited to be celebrating his Bar Mitzvah with his family and friends from near and far, and virtually for those that cannot attend in person.
