Mazel tov to our Bar Mitzvah, Spencer Harley Cohen, son of Stephanie and Josh Cohen, brother of Lilah and Annie Cohen, grandson of Stuart and Suzy Solomon and the late beloved Shelley Solomon, grandson of Jan and Leslie Cohen, great-grandson of Julien Rosenthal and the late beloved Morris "Ike" Rosenthal, and great-grandson of Evelyn Cohen and the late beloved Leon Cohen. Spencer is in seventh grade at The Emery Weiner School where he enjoys playing lacrosse. Outside of school, he enjoys sleep away camp, fishing, and playing video games. For his Mitzvah Project, Spencer is volunteering his time at the Humane Society and he will also be participating in the Rabbi's Ten Percent Plan by donating to Camp for All Kids, an organization that allows children from underserved communities to experience sleep away camp.

Mazel tov to our Bar Mitzvah, Brooks Samuel Perry, son of Tracy and Aaron Perry, brother to Jack Perry, grandson of Lesley and Jeffrey Katz, grandson of Ze’ev Pereg and Rina Pereg (of blessed memory), nephew of Cindy and Doron Levin, nephew of Alexis Caughey, nephew of Amit Pereg. Brooks is in seventh grade at the Emery Weiner School and is very involved in sports. His two favorite sports are golf and baseball both of which he plays on the Emery team. He has also played basketball and football for Emery. Outside of school Brooks plays select baseball for Off-Season Baseball. He loves to play a round of golf whenever he gets the opportunity. Brooks will be participating in the Rabbi’s 10% donation plan for charitable giving and looks forward to completing his mitzvah project soon.
