Mazel tov to our Bat Mitzvah, Sophie Ackerman, daughter of Allyson and Darin Ackerman, sister of Owen Ackerman, Natalie Caldwell and William Ackerman. Sophie is the granddaughter of Ellen and the late Robert Lieberman, and Jacqueline and the late Jerry Ackerman. Sophie is a seventh grader at Lanier Middle School, where she is a member of the cheer squad and Showcase dance team. She is also running track and participating in Model U.N. Sophie is participating in the Rabbi's 10% plan by donating to the Alzheimer's Association, in memory of her grandfather, Bobby. Sophie is excited to share her Bat Mitzvah with her friend, Sloane Beckerman.    

Mazel tov to our Bat Mitzvah, Sloane Everlie Beckerman, daughter of Stacey Zubowski Beckerman & Jonathan Beckerman, sister of Tate Beckerman, Granddaughter of Wendy Beckerman and Randi and Paul Zubowski. Sloane is in 7th grade at the Emery/Weiner School where she plays on the volleyball team. Outside of school Sloane plays club volleyball and enjoys hanging out with her friends. Sloane loves to spend her summers at Blue Star Camps. For her Mitzvah project Sloane has been spending time with residents at Seven Acres playing games and schmoozing and will be participating in the Rabbi's Ten Percent plan for charitable giving.
