Mindfulness has many benefits in practice for our body, mind, heart, and spirit. In these fast-paced, distracted, multitasking, 24/7 days, we are often swept away from recognizing what is arising in the present moment.

In this 3–hour mini-retreat, we will learn how our mind and body are interconnected, how stress affects our nervous system, and how, through the practice of mindfulness, we can restore and settle our nervous system; how we can open our heart to what is arising with compassion; and allow for an opportunity to heal from within so we can embrace our challenges and triumphs; manage stressful situations, and attend to our self-care.

Through brief didactic teachings, guided meditations, experiential practices, sharing, and questions/answers, you will learn how being present for yourself allows you to be present and connect with others in your personal and professional life.

You will be able to incorporate these teachings and practices into your daily life and nurture your heart with tenderness and kindness as you create a sense of emotional balance, ease, and self-care practices.

No prior experience of meditation or mindfulness is required! Each of you is welcome just as you are. Feel free to bring a yoga mat, blanket, and cushion.
