In support of our hometown team, the Astros' playing game 7 of the World Series, we have decided to cancel this event. All those who are interested in hearing Dr. Rachel Gross are encouraged to attend the second event titled "Referendum on the Deli Menu: Jewish Nostalgia and the Deli Revival"at Rice University on Thursday, October 31st hosted in partnership with Rice Jewish Studies.

At 11:40, a catered lunch from Kenny & Ziggy's New York Delicatessen will be served. Dr. Gross's lecture will begin at noon.
