Join us for our annual CanCare Shabbat, where we celebrate cancer survivors and caretakers and recognize the tremendous resource that CanCare is for our community.  We welcome Dr. Keith Saathof, as our special guest speaker.

Dr. Keith Saathof was born into a farm and ranch family in Hondo, Texas, and pursued a degree in Veterinary Medicine at Texas A&M University. He came to Houston after graduating in 1985 to begin his career. In 1992 bought a veterinary practice in Tomball, Texas and has practiced there for 33 years. He has been involved in local churches and has sung in choirs and in a southern gospel quartet. He is a lifetime member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and served on the Veterinarian Committee for many years. He is married to an oncology nurse named Cheryl and is a father and stepfather to 4 adult children. He is a 20 year survivor of Stage 4 Non-Hodgkins lymphoma and is honored to share his story with anyone facing a cancer diagnosis.
