Mazel tov to our Bar Mitzvah, Gabriel Hananel, son of Natasha and Alan Hananel; brother of Benjamin and Raphael; grandson of the late Annie and Jean-Claude Belaisch, and Leon and Vicky Hananel. Gabriel attends the Emery Weiner School. For his mitzvah project, Gabriel is volunteering with the Velva and Fred Levine Jewish Chaplaincy Program. He is preparing Shabbat boxes to bring comfort and a touch of Shabbat warmth to patients in hospitals across Houston. He will donate 10% of his monetary gifts to Brothers for Life, an organization that supports injured IDF soldiers.
