COVID Protocols

Dear {{first_name}},

Due to increasing number of positive Covid cases not just in our city, but in our Beth Yeshurun community, as well as the latest news from the CDC, local and state officials, and our medical advisors, the following COVID-related protocols will go into effect begining today, Friday, December 17th:

• All main sanctuary services will be in Barg Sanctuary.
• Shabbat Chapel services will be moved to the Freedman Levit Sanctuary. 
• Weekday Chapel services will remain in the J.B. Greenfield Chapel.
• Effective Monday, December 20th, all employees, members, and visitors must wear masks when inside our building. Starting today, masks will be highly recommended.  

 
These changes will remain in effect through the end of the year. We will reevaluate after January 1st. 

VACCINATIONS

• All congregants and visitors are expected to be vaccinated.
• ​​​​​​​Congregants that are fully vaccinated but are immunocompromised or have underlying conditions may not be fully protected by the vaccine. For your safety, please consult your physician for guidance before attending in-person services and events. 
• ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​We highly encourage all who are eligible to get vaccinated. If you are not vaccinated, you should stay home and participate virtually.

Please note that these protocols apply only to the synagogue and not the Religious School or Day School, which will continue with their existing protocols.
