Arlene Staller

Arlene was born in Johannesburg, South Africa and has been a member of Congregation Beth Yeshurun since her family’s arrival in Houston in 1961. She graduated from the University of Texas with a BBA and the University of Houston Law Center. She currently serves as the Chief Legal Officer for The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Arlene has been on the Board of Trustees since 2005 and has served on various committees including the Education Committee (Chair), the Personnel and Administrative Practices Committee (Chair), the Security Committee, the Legal Committee and the Inclusion Committee. She is also on the Board of the Beth Yeshurun Day School. Arlene and her husband, Joe, have three sons and daughters-in-law (Jason and Amanda, Brad and Amira, and Todd and Angie) and are the proud grandparents of six grandchildren - Tova, Norah, Jack, Penelope, Ariana, and Olivia.
