Join Rabbi Fort and local professionals for a 4-part series designed especially for first time expectant parents. We’ll discuss:
- Making a Game Plan (prepping pets, visitors, hospital bag, and more)
- Technical Details (Q&A with a Lactation Consultant, RN, birth doula)
- JewFAQS (naming traditions, common Jewish superstitions, etc)
- Afterbirth (what goes into bris, naming/brit bat, PJ Library, Tot Shabbat).

Join Rabbi Fort and community professionals as we explore topics of special interest to parents of older kids (geared for parents of children ages 8 - 12): talking to older kids about big issues like divorce, death, and moving; answering big kids' theological questions like why bad things happen and what is the nature of God; body autonomy and Internet safety; and making being Jewish fun!
