YES Group for Seniors

 

The “YES” group for seniors, is celebrating its 14th year of success catering to seniors 60 to 106 with outstanding programs featuring great entertainment and fabulous lunches prepared by our very own chef and kitchen staff. Lunch is $7 paid in advance or $9 at the door. Programs are usually held the third Wednesday of each month from September through June. This past season, members of our synagogue plus guests from the entire community attended YES programs. We have been honored to have notable speakers including Congressman, Ted Poe; Senator Florence Shapiro; Houston Chronicle editor, Jeff Cohen; Paul Berlin, Leon Hale, and Rabbi Jimmy Kessler. Musical programs have featured our very own Hazzan David Propis; Rob Landes, Prime Tyme, the Jazz Sisters, and members of the Houston Grand Opera.
