Brotherhood

The Beth Yeshurun Brotherhood has but one mission...

To serve the youth of our synagogue. All the funds collected from our sales and projects are contributed directly to our youth services.

Past fund-raising programs have included:

• Honey for Rosh Hashanah 
• Roses for Rosh Hashanah
• Seder centerpieces for Passover

The Brotherhood supports programs that support the youth of our synagogue, including:

• JCC Book Fair event
• Beth Yeshurun Brotherhood Award given to an outstanding Hillel High School student
• Participation in the Purim Carnival
• Provide each Bar/Bat Mitzvah child with a Kiddush cup

Additionally, the Brotherhood has committed to financially contribute to several Jewish organizations that offer services to our youngsters. Last year the Brotherhood donated to:

• Jewish Children's Regional Service
• University of Texas Hillel
• Rice/Houston Hillel
• JCC Summer Camp
• Camp Young Judea
