The Beth Yeshurun Cemeteries

Congregation Beth Yeshurun has two cemeteries in Houston and one in Wharton, Texas. For information about purchasing a plot in one of the cemeteries, please send an e-mail to cemetery@bethyeshurun.org or call Lu Dorfman at (713) 666-1881, ext. 302. In an emergency, please call Arthur Miller, Cemetery Manager [Home phone (713) 771-7962; cell phone (713) 854-6457]. If you cannot reach Arthur Miller, please ask your funeral home to contact Lu Dorfman.

Beth Yeshurun Cemetery at Post Oak and Old Katy Road

1. Take West Loop 610 North
2. Exit Woodway/Memorial, then continue in center lane
3. At Memorial Drive, turn left
4. Turn right onto North Post Oak
5. Continue north over I-10/Katy Freeway
6. Cemetery is on the left

Beth Yeshurun Cemetery at Allen Parkway

1. Take West Loop 610 North to 59 North (Southwest Freeway)
2. Exit at Kirby
3. Turn left onto Kirby
4. Kirby becomes Allen Parkway
5. Cemetery is located across from the Allen Park House on North side (left) of bayou

Beth Yeshurun Cemetery in Wharton

1. I-59 South to Wharton/Bay City Exit
2. Left on Hwy 59 Business/Hwy 60 South, under Freeway to Hwy 1301 (traffic light)
3. Left on Hwy 1301 to Junior College Boulevard (traffic light)
4. Left on Junior College Boulevard to Shearith Israel Cemetery (about 2 blocks on right)
